Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for abused and traumatized children
TF-CBTWeb, is a web-based, distance learning course for Trauma-Focused
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) for for abused and traumatized children who have symptoms of posttraumatic stress.
It was developed and tested in multiple clinical trials by Drs. Esther Deblinger, Judy Cohen, and Anthony Mannarino. Sponsored by he National
Crime Victims Research and Treatment Center at the Medical University of South Carolina and the National Child Traumatic Stress Network.
VA Virtual Innovation Partnership (VIP)
This Web site is for VA health care providers of PTSD services, providing information on treatments, screening tools, and facility resources.
The goal of this site is to connect health care systems with trainers, who are able to provide in-depth training in these high quality, innovative
screening devices, treatments, and outcome assessments for PTSD and related problems.
The National Institute for Trauma and
Loss in Children
The National Institute for Trauma and Loss in Children's (TLC) mission is to
provide direct services to traumatized children and families and to provide
specific intervention programs and resource materials needed to help children,
parents, families, and schools traumatized by violent or non-violent trauma-inducing
incidents.
Post-Traumatic Stress
Guideline
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and Department of Defense (DOD) have
developed the Post-Traumatic Stress Guideline. This guideline is based on evidence-based
clinical practice and was developed by and written for clinicians. Implementation
of evidence-based clinical practice guidelines is one strategy to improve care
by reducing variation in practice and systematizing "best practices".
Guidelines serve to reduce errors, and provide consistent quality of care and
utilization of resources throughout the system. Guidelines also are cornerstones
for accountability and facilitate learning and the conduct of research. NOTE:

The Women's Trauma Recovery Program (WTRP)
The "Women's Trauma Recovery Program" (WTRP) is a national residential
treatment program for women veterans with military-related PTSD. Part
of the Menlo Park Division of the National Center for PTSD, the WTRP
offers intensive treatment in a beautiful setting, including
cutting-edge therapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).
Iraqi Freedom
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has created this web site for returning
Active Duty, National Guard and Reserve service members of Operations Enduring
Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.
