Behavioral Science Division
The Behavioral Science Division at Boston, Massachusetts, under the direction of Terence M. Keane PhD, is at the forefront of efforts to develop scientifically validated measures of PTSD. Current investigations address both psychological and psychophysiological procedures. In addition, Division staff conduct research on basic mechanisms of PTSD as related to cognitive information processing, family and social support factors, and gender issues. Studies of behavioral treatment process and outcome comprise a third major focus of the Division research. Training activities of the Division emphasize both research and clinical skills.
